Baby Massage

"WITH HEALTHY TOUCH THE HUMAN INFANT NOT ONLY SURVIVES BUT THRIVES"

Infant Massage is a wonderful way to strengthen the bond between you and your baby. Babies are used to constant stimulation within the womb and they need to re-establish that stimulation once they are born. It is important to build a positive relationship with your baby that is tender and expresses love and interest. Plus Baby Massage is great fun!

Classes are taught in a series of 5 approximately one hour weekly sessions. These classes are entirely baby led, so whether baby needs feeding or changing or cries, your first priority is to attend to your baby, there is plenty of time to catch up with the strokes as they are repeated weekly. We need to teach massage over a period of weeks so that babies get used to it gradually. Teaching massage to parents in weekly classes gives them time to practice the techniques in their own home, and to ask any questions at the next session. As a fully qualified member of the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM) I look forward to meeting with you and your beautiful baby.
